2008 Connecticut By-laws
To qualify for Labor Day Nationals:
- Win a qualifying tournament
- Be the highest finishing team in a tournament that doesn't have a bid
- Play in a minimum of 4 sanctioned tournaments
- Play in State Tournament
- Play in minimum of 1 NIT
- Have a minimum of 150 points
To qualify for Worlds with at-large Bid:
- Have a minimum of 200 points
- Have the most points as of 08/23/06
- Play a minimum of 6 sanctioned tournaments
- Play in State Tournament
- Play in minimum of 1 NIT
- Play in Nationals on Labor Day
To qualify for Worlds with NIT win:
- Win an NIT
- Play a minimum of 4 sanctioned tournaments
- Play in State Tournament
- Play in Nationals on Labor Day
All sanctioned tournaments will adhere to all sanctioned USSSA rules unless length of fences is less than 300 feet.
All teams that bounce a check or back out of a tournament at the last minute will be subject to the following policy:
- Team will have 1 week to make good, if not ALL players on roster are immediately suspended from further play in 2008 until bill is paid.
- If as of January 1, 2009 the team or its manager has not made good on their debt the entire roster will be again suspended for 2009.
